We are a high quality, small, friendly Pre school in the heart of Sway in the New Forest, which has been established for over 40 years.

We currently take children from 2 years until school age and are open 40 weeks per year.

With outstanding staff to child ratios, of never more than 4 children per member of staff, and sometimes as low as 2:1, we feel we can provide an excellent environment for your child to feel safe and secure.

Our staff are fully NVQ trained, with a passion and commitment to making this a fun and welcoming setting for young children.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is planned using the EYFS statutory requirements together with each child's individual learning needs. We use loose topics on which to base activities. 

We have strong links with St Luke's Primary School. 

Special Needs

As part of the pre-school’s policy to make sure that its provision meets the needs of each individual child, we take account of any special needs a child may have. We work to the requirements of the Education Act (2011), the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2015) and the Children and Families Act (2014).

The small size of our setting (a maximum of 15 children per session) coupled with a high adult to child ratio, enables children to settle quickly and feel secure and comfortable. Whatever your child's needs, our provision is easily adapted. We have an outstanding reputation in inclusive practice and are happy to discuss any additional needs your child may have.
